Journey Ministries

The Audio/Visual Ministry

provides professional audio and video services to Journey Church. The ministry is responsible for recording all worship services, sound lighting, etc. for all Journey Encounters.

The guest experience Ministry

 Members of this ministry have the pleasure of learning about our guests every Sunday, and extending Journey hospitality to each of them. The Guest Kiosk is the place where guests pick up their Journey gift for visiting with us. This ministry also connects with on-line guests to complete the guest gift experience.

The Brotherhood Ministry

strives to attract and engage all men towards spiritual growth and leadership in the home, church, and community. The mission of the Brotherhood Ministry is to empower men and uplift God’s Kingdom.

The Cafe Ministry

is for people who enjoy cooking, baking, and preparing special dishes to promote Christian fellowship, sharing and bonding. The Cafe serves a variety of foods and drinks including, breakfast meals, fruits, various pastries, coffees and tea, and the famous “Pastor’s Brew.”

The Children’s Ministry

provides spiritual, cultural, recreational and educational guidance for children grades K-5. The purpose of the Children’s Ministry is to reach, teach, and grow children by molding hearts for lifelong discipleship. Every second and fourth Sunday, Children’s Church is held in the Zone.

The Greeter’s Ministry

is a passionate, energetic group who set the tone for worship and other church events by greeting, hosting and welcoming members and guests. Greeters are dedicated to welcoming with radical hospitality and strive to make their first impression a lasting impression.

The Health and Wellness Ministry

promotes spiritual and physical well-being for the mind, body and soul. The ministry strives to increase the understanding of health and well-being by providing health information, screenings, health fairs and nutritional information.

The Intercessory Prayer Ministry

is to help individuals and groups grow in their understanding and experience of prayer. The ministry serves weekly at Journey’s Intercessory Prayer Wednesday Night Encounter at 6:30 p.m.

The Married Couples Ministry

is designed to help married couples grow in their walk with God, to love and enjoy their lives together, to work through the challenges as a team, and to become an example to others of what God intended a marriage to be. It is God’s desire for every married couple to enjoy a strong, healthy, and fulfilling marriage.

The Parking Lot Ministry

is responsible for making an immediate impression on our guests as they drive onto our campus. This crew has the pleasure of managing the flow of traffic, protecting the safety of pedestrians, providing shuttle services, and much more.

The Praise Dance and Mime Ministry

ministers to the body of Christ through praise, worship and dance. Women of Destiny inspire and encourage women from all walks of life to be all that God has made them to be by ministering through dance. The Men of Valor Mime Ministry is a passionate group of men and youth who are dedicated to worshiping the Lord through the art of dance and mime.

The Watchman Ministry

is the gatekeeper and protector for Journey during worship. Journey Watchman’s mission is to be observant, vigilant, and alert as he oversees the congregation. The Watchman’s service allows the people of God to have a safe and uplifting worship experience.

Emerging Leaders 2.0

Designed to help 25-40 year olds desiring to grow deeper in their faith and relationship with God. There are a number of spiritual, social and service opportunities available. 

singles Ministry

This ministry aims to reach, teach and nurture the singles of our church and community so that each individual will come to faith, Christian maturity, and service through interaction with God, God'sWord, and one another. There are a number of in-person and online events with spiritual, social and service opportunities. 

Social Media Ambassadors

This ministry helps facilitate, connect with and enhance the experience of those persons who join with Journey Church online.

The Youth Ministry

plans and implements activities and programs for youth grades 6-12. Their mission is to foster spiritual growth along with emotional and social awareness through Bible Studies, youth retreats, and community service projects. Youth Church is held every third Sunday of the month in the Zone and Youth and Children’s Takeover is every fourth Sunday of the month.
